COA is a registered NonProfit Association representing Condo Owners in Ontario.  COA Toronto features 12 districts to coordinate with the Political Ridings embracing each Ward.  This structure allows COA representation in each condo community and establishes working relationships with all MP's, MPP's and Ward Councillors.  Each Chapter (city/town) across Ontario has the same structure. 

 

 
TORONTO TALL BUILDINGS STUDY

Oct 6, 2010 

Today, the City of Toronto released the findings of the "Tall Buildings, Inviting Change in Downtown Toronto" study. This study proposes a vision and a set of performance standards for new tall buildings in downtown Toronto. Community consultation with regard to the study findings will take place in the spring of 2011.   (Bruce Hawkins, Senior Communications Coordinator Toronto)

Trinity Spadina MPP Rosarie Marchese, host Public Forum with Guest Speaker Linda Pinizzotto, COA Founder, President

A Public Forum on Ontario Condo Legislation, held June 1, 2010, was hosted by Rosario Marchese (MPP Trinity-Spadina). Discussion included his recently introduced Bill 79: Condo Owners Protection Act, 2010.

Guest Speakers were: Linda Pinizzotto, Founder and President of COA (Condo Owners Association Ontario);

FOUNDER OF COA SPEAKS AT QEEN'S PARK

  

Linda Pinizzotto, Founder, President of the Condo Owners Association (COA) speaks at Queen's Park Toronto in favour of Private Members Bill 79 to change the Condo Act presented by Rosario Marchese, MPP of Trinity Spadina and AdHoc member of COA.  COA is a registered non profit Association to represent Condo Owners across the Province and comprises of local Chapters of Cities & Towns throughout the Province, known as COA Chapters.

 

  

 

COA Toronto is the "First" COA Chapter to represent 12 Districts across the City and soon to include the GTA.  Each Chapter has Districts to reflect the local wards in each Chapter.   The "First" District of COA Toronto is Trinity-Spadina.  The Condo Owners Association addresses the shortfalls of the Condo Act, Tarion Warranties and advocates a series of change for the benefits of Condo Owners within the Municipalities ie. Building Codes etc and at Provincial level.
