Founding of COA

Condo Owners Association

The Condo Owners Association was founded in 2009The orginal Condo Owners Association was founded in April 2009 however it was limited to the Trinity Spadina district within the City of Toronto.   First COA President & Chair, Linda Pinizzotto,  realized the necessity to create and establish a Condo Owners Association Province-wide and by late 2009 so she founded COA Ontario and recently COA Toronto was launched.  Creating the structure of the Association was a huge challenge.   Condo Owners must have a voice to represent them with all levels of Government.  COA stands alone within the Province of Ontario as an Association for Condo Owners; registration is made through their Condo Corporation.  The First Board of Directors have engaged in press conferences, correspondence with City Officials, news articles, rallies and meetings of key issues.  They have formed a mission statement, mandates and objectives, by-laws, membership drive, directories and database, financial reports and accounts.  Their hard work, dedication and accomplishments has opened doors for COA Ontario to stands alone within the Province of Ontario as an Association for Condo Owners through their Condo Corporation.
